Privacy Policy

This policy explains what iTradeChart collects, why, and your choices. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account: username and a salted password hash (never the password itself), email if you give one; with Google login your name, email and Google account ID; with broker login your broker client code and name, plus an encrypted access token used only to read market data.
• App activity: paper trades, watchlist, strategies, alerts, scans, lesson progress, game and contest entries, chat and support messages, feedback.
• Payments: order and payment IDs, amount, date and payment method type from our payment gateway (PayU), and the mobile number you enter for PayU. We never receive your card, UPI or bank details.
• Technical: IP address and browser type (for security and abuse limits), and browser storage for your login, language and theme.
• Optional: push-notification subscription and Telegram chat ID if you turn those alerts on.

How we use it

To run the service and your account, activate Pro after payment, send the alerts you asked for, keep the service safe, answer support requests and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.

Advertising

Free (non-Pro) users may see ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Partner cards ("open an account with a broker") are our own referral links. Pro users see no ads.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they use and where they come from, so we can improve the app. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type and approximate location (city level). We do not send your name, email or trades to Google Analytics. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Who we share it with

• PayU (and Razorpay / PhonePe where shown), to process payments.
• Google AdSense, which serves ads to free users (see Advertising).
• Google Analytics, to measure site usage (see Analytics).
• Google or your broker, only when you choose to log in with them.
• Our cloud hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
• Authorities, if required by law.

Other users only see your public display name (for example in chat or leaderboards), never your email or account ID.

Storage and security

Data is stored on secured cloud servers. Passwords are hashed, broker tokens are encrypted, and all traffic uses HTTPS.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to us (see Contact).

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and data yourself at any time: in the app or website open the menu, then My account, then Delete account (type DELETE; username accounts also enter the password). Steps are also at itradechart.com/delete-account. If you cannot log in, email us (see Contact) and we will delete the account within 7 days. Deletion removes your login, paper-trading data, strategies, watchlist, alerts, badges, chat and support messages, feedback, notifications, broker token and Pro right away. Payment records (amount, date, payment ID) are kept for up to 8 years for tax and legal reasons, no longer linked to your account or name. Clearing your browser data removes a no-login account immediately.

Android app

The Android app opens this same website inside Chrome (Trusted Web Activity). It does not access your contacts, photos, location or other apps. Notifications are sent only if you turn them on.

Children

iTradeChart is meant for users aged 18 and above.
