How it works

  • Pick the segment: delivery, intraday, futures or options.
  • Enter buy price, sell price and quantity (for F&O, the total quantity = lots × lot size).
  • Charges use a typical discount-broker plan (₹20 or 0.03% per order, whichever is lower; delivery free). Your broker's exact charges can differ.

FAQ

What is STT?

Securities Transaction Tax is a government tax on trades: 0.1% on both sides for delivery, 0.025% on the sell side for intraday, 0.02% on the sell side for futures and 0.1% of premium on the sell side for options.

Why do I lose money even when the price did not move?

Every trade pays brokerage, taxes and fees on both buy and sell. The price must move by the breakeven points just to cover them.
