How it works
- Enter your trading capital and how much of it you are willing to lose on one trade (risk %).
- Enter the entry price and the stop-loss price.
- Quantity = (capital × risk %) ÷ (entry − stop-loss). If that needs more money than you have, it is capped.
FAQ
How much should I risk per trade?
Many traders keep it around 1-2% of their capital, so a losing streak does not wipe out the account. This is a common rule of thumb, not advice.
Does a wider stop-loss mean fewer shares?
Yes. The farther the stop, the bigger the loss per share, so you buy fewer shares to keep the same rupee risk.
